Learning to Dance Again
Somewhere deep and locked away
there’s happy smiles and brighter days.
Shadows cast from built up walls
all fade away when nature calls.
Finding peace within the woods,
where creatures dwell and speak of good.
Rest among the falling leaves,
forget me nots and make believes.
Drift away to lands of dreams
with nothing ever as it seems.
He lets himself feel alive,
and learns to breathe thus he survives.
Centered in his stoic state
with far to much to contemplate,
gives himself a second chance
and shows his heart the will to dance.
