After Frodo destroyed the one ring

Reading in the Shire never felt the same after,
Muted sounds once known as laughter,
Drowned out by memories of old,
The stories that would forever be told.
It’s different to be the main character of the story,
To see the glory instead of all the gory,
Those friends that were lost leading up to Mount Doom,
Those are the memories that forever will loom.

So Frodo forever left the Shire,
Though his story more than enough to inspire,
The next generation of hobbits to believe,
In Middle Earth even the smallest could achieve,
The most impossible task with the help of the ones you cherish,
That love can conquer and evil must perish.
