A Lawyer Walked Into A Bar...
there are worse beings
i am sure
but i can’t think of one
at the moment
vicious little buggers
always
showing up
uninvited
buzzing
around
irritating
annoying
even after you
chase them away
they return
with even more vigor
literally sucking the blood
out of you leaving you
with a maddening itch
under your skin
there are worse beings

sometimes it seems
the world
would be better off
without them
but
mosquitos
are here to stay
