I admire women whose presence in the lives of their men has been good for the latter's confidence. An example in our day being our King Charles and Queen Camilla who go back decades further than their marriage. She probably was more his kind of woman than Diana sadly was but royal need for a 'pure' mother of heirs kept them apart..

Hey Mary, I am trying to get some reading in finally. Sorry it took so long, still struggling but I am glad I came across this one. It's so supportive and it shows the power a person can have when helping someone recover from the past and even trauma that can leave you so broken. When someone takes your heart and soul and abuse that for their own gain it causes so much damage. Some people just don't care as long as they get what they want. But anyway, I digress... when you support someone's recovery I think that's an incredible thing to give someone but it can so difficult too if that person is no longer with you. Still I think that gift provides so much back to you in the way of karma and growth. And what's to come should be even better. Each person we influence in our lives for the better makes an impact on the heart and soul. It makes us better and when you can appreciate that and see the good in it then it moved you forward in life. Still you cannot help but miss them until that space is filled, but it will be filled because you have so much love and passion. That's something that will always be irresistible and desired. And the next thing is often so much better.
