Vanity?

That moment
When the ECG Monitor
That you're wearing
Becomes overbearing
Keeps beeping
Have i been
Connected to a twitter
Or am i
About to die
Or has it malfunctioned
And if so why?
And in all the info
That came supplied with the pack
Tells me nothing
Of how to bring it back
Or how to silence
The beeping
As the sun encrusted clouds
Across the sky, are sweeping
And in fear
Will i start weeping
And for fun
I dialled 111
But got no reply
The lines to busy
For me to die
But, should i
Venture home alone
And enter the twilight zone
And perhaps try
To pick up the phone
And dial again
And hope it's all
Not in vain?
