Gothic Librarian

Gothic Librarian

Gothic librarian with glasses fallen
To refract nose for lamplight gaze
Her tresses tell the story
Of red embers that smolder
Where dreams awaken for bookish men
Eyelashes dark as bat wings
On a face of fiery pink complexion
Like the blush of a teacher
in the throes of innuendo
In a game, she knows all too well
and is partial to win
Because she makes the rules
For schoolboy fools
Without the requisite tools
To unlock her jewels

*inspired by a photo of my fifty something woman friend in her glasses
