Better Luck Next Time
don't look too close
you might get disappointed
no need for put downs
I do that shit enough to myself
but if there is one thing I know is true
it's not over till it's over
and you bet I have some more
pain in me
some more love in me
some more fight in me
and too many falls in me
my drive is special
no one will take that away
when I'm old and broken
I still won't give in
and if anyone wants to question
say my legacy isn't what it is
you're damn right i'll stand up
broken bones and all
just to shut a mother fucker up
because I have more
torment in me
some more care in me
some more faith in me
and some more hell to dish out
can't always live up to expectations
so I just live up to my own
good love and good food
a bit of selfcare and less news
is all I ever needed
spent too much time with liars
pissing me off
is a surefire way to see my devil side
take what's mine
and I'd fight like Geronimo
so don't expect me to surrender
I have so much more time
so much more try
so much more life
