Lover Forgotten
The still night silence brings a requiem of simpler times
Into the blackness,
I will vanquish in my own personal penitence
Emotions of lamentation overflows beyond capacity
Pushes me deeper into turmoil
Deep waters of turbulence
The intolerance of self, overwhelms
I reap what I sow
The remembrance of you is all that remains,
In these realms
The cremains of what once was withers away with the earthly dust
The stem which our love once flourished rooted so deeply into our motherly grounds so strongly is now feeble and fragile
The phenomenon of you persists in my mind as “We” cease to exist
