SHINE YOUR LIGHT

SHINE YOUR LIGHT
Beyond what all the rest will call real
Trust what you know and see and feel
Don’t look around to place the blame
Just look inside and you’ll see the flame

Those glowing embers rising through
The pain you’ve been accustomed to
Find peace in tending the fire’s blaze
And it won’t falter through life’s maze

Find what you need and it to bring to life
The fire inside will burn away the strife
Of living throughout each and every day
And light your path along your own way

To yourself you must always be true
There wasn't nor will be never be another you
Don’t be discouraged by what they do and say
Just light your fire and find your own way

Share the light, the light of your own fire
With all that gather and seek and fuel the pyre
So that bound together you can shine the light
A beacon of hope in the day as well as night
