Silent except radar.
That held my attention.
Hearing the beep of something maybe on the horizon.
A hopeful contrast to the loneliness tone of the poem.

Your accompanied art work for me reminds me of a
dark wave fixing to crash down on the tugboat.

Funny how being alone in that situation, yet you don't feel lonely.  And your poem describes the crowd of things keeping you company.
Excellent.

I walk on an esplanade daily where the tugs are in constant motion up and down the East River.

Each time I feel the aura of life on tug and envision my place in that realm.  Just came back from that walk actually.  Love it as the day was dank and misty.  Perfect for me.

This is one of my favorite poems that I've penned.
It details all my need my work and solitude.
I've been a lone rider most of my life.
I need people but not an avalanche of them.

This poem came from actually watching the tugs
It literally wrote itelf in z solitary moment ....

Easy to say that it "wrote itself"...but it took talent to "translate" what you saw.  Forgot to mention how appealing the art is...it IS! :-)

Art is watery
It fit my solemn mode that day
I could definitely do that job in the next life

I'm intrigued by the colors in this one.

It's a real painting with gouache but I put it through my digitizer using X44C Technology and got this result.  The green is eerie along with my tugboat wanna be fantasy
