Image for the poem solitude

solitude

I wanted to talk to you privately but I can't do it
I'm afraid the dream would fade
inside me I tremble at the thought of you
you shake me down deep and that's not easy

I covet the silence you use to penetrate my solitude
my soul ache for you and I blush to feel this nude
so, it is with tenderness I reach out to touch
you are beautiful to me

in honesty, I wanted to tell you how much I wish,
just how much I desire your company
inside me with deep pangs

I lust you within my hollow spaces
but I don't dare disturb the quiet waters with my chatter
of things never to materialize
