Self Reflecting
Sitting here reflecting on my life,
A daughter, mother, and a wife.
In my opinion I am a true friend,
A ride and die until the end.
Where and how did I go wrong,
Have I been miserable this long?
Do I not deserve to be truly happy?
Needing someone to love me for me. If you met me you wouldn’t even know,
When did my life become such a shit show?

Sometimes reflecting on life can be very difficult.
All the pain and suffering, love and passion, even happiness,
The things we are and have been, the things we want to be.
Feeling everything so strongly, love and passion from the heart and soul.
Sometimes it's easy to feel like we were put here simply to be a tortured soul.
Failing other people and failing ourselves.
And it's so easy to be used and abused sometimes.
When you give and feel everything deeply.
I suppose it's even easier to abuse ourselves for it.
It can definitely feel like a shit show.
Still don't lose your passion for life and it's possibilities.
Because you deserve to be happy and so long as you keep searching.
You can definitely find it. And I really hope you do.
This line I understand so well "Needing someone to love me for me"
I had written this in one I had written a little while back.
"About desire to actually be loved for me. ..."
So it made me think of that line.
That poem was about a very dark time for me growing up.
Anyway, I definitely felt this one.

Thank you X for the in-depth comment and the RL. We are our own abusers most of the time. When you have alot of down time your mind goes haywire with thoughts-the good and the bad. 💜💜
