I went too far and touched your soul
little breaths spoke of hurt
you took me in and exhale visions

I sway in tune with your music
notes of despair I understood
it pained me but it was truth

I sat in silence echoing loneliness
we knew each other then
our souls lingered in the darkness
touching the meaning of it all
I don't make sense but you get me

your hope is in the flesh and blood of things
