My Saving Grace

There’s a fine line between coincidence and fate,
I felt an emptiness that only he could relate.
Walking through life thinking I knew what love was,
Saying I love you had no meaning said just because.
Getting use to good morning my love, how are you, and good night messages,
Learning how to take compliments and praises while removing damaged bandages.
Never knew how much I was missing and needed,
Until I fell in love with him and realized how I was cheated.
He filled my lonely empty space,
Thank God for him-my saving grace.
