Tight, we likey everything about it, the flow and darkness blends well

Thank you, Me. I had a tough time writing this one because it's something I struggle with at times and realised there was a lot of shame around my own mental health and suicidal ideations from time to time. Some people seem to never have to battle that mind while others, like me, can't remember a time when I didn't have to reason with myself. Thankfully, I haven't felt like doing myself in for a good few months, but it's a sneaky one. I kinda enjoy the war on my mind, weirdly enough. Each round with it only makes me stronger.

Everything comes and goes.  So live life to the fullest.  Keep on writing.

Very well put. What keeps me going at 77 is my deep sense of curiosity about the total insanity of our times. I feel caught up in this ultimate extinction event and hope to hang out long enough for the good guys to at least have a shot of saving the planet. I want to be there for them, us, posterity, with my vote.

Having been on the precipice of this myself on many occasions I found this write raw with a prayerful quality. For me, It’s so difficult to manage these feelings at times, I think that sliver of “something new dawns” is what keeps me from acting on the darker thoughts. You’ve written a beautiful poem on a subject that is difficult to comment on, and done so that so many of us can relate on a personal level. H🌷

Yeah, it was a toughie. I was ashamed to write this, to put down in wiriting what has haunted me forever. But I think this was cathartic rather than ruminating on the darkness that comes and goes. Thank you so much for your kind comment, I really appreciate it when others reach out and connect <3
