Dear E,
I know this old chestnut very well. Debate and vacillation until that one random moment when I make the change and it’s decades long “overnight” decision. There is a sweet sense of humor in this that I always appreciate for a difficult personal change. I know whatever happens we’ll land upright on our feet. Loved the write. H🌷

Well. Last night, I was going to quit my job. Gave myself a year to find something new and plan my escape. This morning, my sensible brain says that it's wise to stay in a place where I've been for 15 years... pensions etc. BUT I'm on a zero hours contract and always have been. All I want is a salary, damn it! And not even a large one. Just into five figures would do, because I run my own business too, and we sort of get by.
