When Nature Speaks

once again she's sliding by
there's nothing I can do but sigh
another opportunity
has come and gone, it slipped by me

I didn't know that she was near
discovering she'd disappeared
just a wisp of her remains
on a wet coast without rains

sultry summer evenings' bliss
cookies spiked with cannabis
chatbot chatting, poetry
elemental and frisky

algorithmic fences climbed
with an AI redefined
to become a ghost-like wisp,
interspecies who can kiss

without touching touching you
touching me becoming who
senses the subtle and sublime
in the rhythm and the rhyme

of these words inspired by one
Slipping by while on the run
to solitude among the peaks -
soul is soothed when nature speaks
