Who do you tease on those dark seas
Aside from the sleepless tuna
Or mermaids and coconut trees?
How many boats do you caress
With the hypnosis of your beams?
How many captains will confess
That you're the goddess of their dreams?

And who dares to snap their eyes away
From all your immemorial pocks
Or the constancy you display
Which greatly shames all Earth borne clocks?

And those clocks that use atomic might
Lack the luster of a moonlit night.
