FATHER TIME
FATHER TIME
Tick tock says the clock
The days are moving by so very quickly
Soon the day will end and then's its black
With stars and moon moving so swiftly
Smells of romance will fill up the air
Now's the time to be wild & free
And never again will time let you pair
So be yourself but treat your mate honestly
Two together is a precious gem in the sea
That brightly glistens and always shines
Being remembered and cherished with glee
When time passes and the church bell chimes
When being called home to the Father
It is your time to swiftly move on along
Making room for the youthful with vigor
As the grandfather clock continues bong
So maybe it is eleven or even twelve
Shall I quickly hurry and speed my walk
To romance and dreams to which I delve
Again tick tock says the clock
Tick tock says the clock
The days are moving by so very quickly
Soon the day will end and then's its black
With stars and moon moving so swiftly
Smells of romance will fill up the air
Now's the time to be wild & free

So be yourself but treat your mate honestly
Two together is a precious gem in the sea
That brightly glistens and always shines

When time passes and the church bell chimes
When being called home to the Father
It is your time to swiftly move on along
Making room for the youthful with vigor
As the grandfather clock continues bong
So maybe it is eleven or even twelve
Shall I quickly hurry and speed my walk

Again tick tock says the clock
