You claim that I don't know you but I swear that I do
I picked you from among billions, and swore that my heart was true
Every pulse of your being, belongs solely to me
It was for the two of us that the universe designed a key

But how can I, a mere mortal open a portal
That will allow me to walk among you as if it was normal
What would be the numerical base that would allow me travel trough space
Simply to kiss your lips and touch your face

But the gods of the constellatons are a jealous lot
They saw my love for you and devised a plot
The universe's key was stolen and hidden
A mortal's love for a goddess wasn't just unnatural, it was forbidden

I defied the gods cursing them all by name
The only thing that stopped me was the thought of bringing you my shame
But the glow of your love continues to drive me insane
I entered a black hole and relished in the pain

The gods saw it as a defying act
They filled in the black hole and brought me back
Brought me before their counsel for displaying love like that
For displaying that the love of two could be such a powerful pact

And me, I was flung to the deepest, darkest edges of reality
I was told only out there would I ever find the key
I'll search here in the dark, totally blind, for all of eternity
Because this key opens the doorway to my star and my destiny
