Mine in a line
Mine in a line
Oh how I'd really love to be laying with you in your bed, instead of being a written fantasy from a poem that you've read
To feel your skin up close and tight, feel your body heat with mine but sadly I'm only close to you, when I've put it in a line
Kissing, touching, my hands running wild, having you as mine, but I can only dream of that and put it down in rhyme
I would love to drink from your sacred place to taste your wine for real, sadly that won't happen, I don't even know how you really feel
I wish I could turn my dreams and rhymes in to real life, even for a night, I'd make a million memories, in my heart I'd hold them tight
Entwined wrapped together we'd share our beating hearts, sadly it is a childish wish, as we are worlds apart
But at least when I dream or write, I can make you mine, together for the briefest moment, whilst you read this rhyme
