She sighs, tenderly brushing the tears        
From his eyes      
Holding him      
After his body gave way      
To eruption after eruption      
Her mark stinging      
His body quaking      
This giant of a man      
Never      
Saw        
It      
Coming      
Tenderly, she brushes tears from his eyes
