Who wants to buy an island, beachfront property going really cheap
For a hundred grand the whole fucking island is yours to keep
Yes, that's right for one hundred thousand you can possess it all
The tons of plastic, glass, and paper products creating this ball

A floating mass of garbage, a problem that no one wants to solve
They just don't realize it's the ecosystem being robbed
All of that plastic poisoning the ocean, killing marine life
And who's catching more hell than the sea turtle's strife
 
The government wants billions to build a wall
They want billions for defense and our fall
Who has the biggest bomb to help our final war come
Imagine if one of those billions were used to clean up that man made scum

The sea turtles and seals may be able to escape their predators
They simply can't wrapped in plastic or didn't that register
Currently fair game for every shark patrolling the ocean
There's man made trash being found in areas that are still frozen

Why can't it be tabled, let's undo man's harm to earth
The ocean and marine life is suffering so let's start there first
Let's sweep the ocean's surface of every piece of trash
The bottom should be cleaned also but we will do that last

Just think of a five billion dollar contract to clean up the oceans
This is what it seems to take for humans to get the notion
To do what is right, we were only given one planet with everything connected
And unlike the dinosaurs, we don't want nature to make us respect it
