Warm Leaves

Found on a lonely Saturday.
I had to slide in with words of hope.
Expectations evacuated all over.
In and out thoughts swim.
How did you stumble upon such a day like that?
Lucky or meant to be?
Something good had to come eventually.
All I ask is that in the fall can you keep the leaves warm for me?
Cause I’m going to miss this summer.
You think it’s ending but it’s just starting.
Days are getting slower.
Embracing all that happens and all that we have caused.
Excited I get to expose the romantic part in me onto you.
Excepted I’m wanted.
