Train of Thought

This I must say to myself,
Lest I make a fool of myself,
Or make others angry with myself:
Remember, don't explain your train of thought,
No matter how interesting you find it,
That short detour in thought,
People don't need to know how you came to it,
How you came to your current thought, idea, or question,
Is more than people care to question.
Nobody cares about how or why you think what you think,
Because their patience is gone in a blink.
