She may have been loved at some
point in her crash and burn life.
If she was, she never knew it,
never felt it so it never mattered.
Especially now.

At certain points in our lives, we come to realise that some of our difficulties/ limitations are of our own making. It's a tough lesson, but I think we've all been there. Elegantly put.

I can feel the loneliness in the pic and poem. They compliment
each other so perfectly Nik:)
Even though the coin looks so shiny and royal - doesn't mean
she knows the true happiness of a good luck penny you find on the

Dear N,
For me there was a great deal of isolation in this write. More in terms of self preservation but driven to be left un-hurt. Sometimes I’ve felt like this heroine. I don’t think with a big ego but definitely one with a castle built for one. Outstanding write. H🌷
