If I Only Knew

If I knew for sure that it's better after here
I'd probably slit my throat from ear to ear
To hear trumpets blare up there in paradise
But instead I'm still here relying on this vice

Thought more than twice how nice it'd be
To escape miniseries of reality T.V.
This here's no woe is me; just how I feel
Tired of being stomped by Achilles' heels

Deal or no deal; I spill ink like it's blood
Instead of spewing steel pills like Elmer Fudd
Low crawling in mud with my head held high
Soldiering on rather than choosing to die
