A Mortal Kiss Of Endless Love

AL FORNO RESTAURANT
Sighisoara, Romania

Naynina looked out the window as Dracon pulled his vehicle in front of a five-star restaurant.

“Is there any reason as to why I am not parked in from of Vasile’s estate?”

“No reason, other than I’m hungry, and I have not eaten.”

“Two things.”

“The first.”

Dracon unsnapped his seatbelt. He looked over at Naynina.

“Did you not eat with the students?”

“The main course was missing.” He winked at her. “And the second.”

“I vaguely heard you state you usually appease your appetite in the midnight hour.”

“I will have you on your back, and yes, I will most likely feed my need.”

“Professor Constantine.”

“Oh, you pulling out the professor name barrier. Sweetheart that barrier went out the window the moment you kissed these lips and let me taste yours in return.”

“Dracon, you are aware I am your student.”

“Correction, you are Professor Peeples’ student, you are a guest in my home.”

And soon my heart Dracon thought.

“Now woman are we going to sit here and debate an argument you will never win, or eat?”

“I will surrender my tongue until the right time.”

“I will love to be a recipient of that tongue of yours.”

“Umm, I sure you will.”

“Where have you been hiding all these years?”

Naynina laughed. She noticed Dracon’s eyes took on a dark front. She shivered from the visible response.

“I….”

“Not to worry, when the time does arrive. You will atone for the absence of a lonely heart.”

Dracon opened the door, and got out his SUV.

A valet walked around Dracon’s vehicle.

Dracon walked around the passenger side of his vehicle. He opened the door for Naynina.

Naynina clasped her hand in Dracon’s hand. She noticed his hand was much warmer than the last time she held onto it.

“Your warmness is definitely welcomed.”

“If you stick we me long enough, other things will become warm as well.”

“For me to benefit I hope.”

“No need to, you will.”

Dracon placed his arm around Naynina’s waist and walked to the entrance of the restaurant.

DRACON’S CASTLE
Sighisoara, Romania

Vasile parked his vehicle in front of Dracon’s residence. He hated the presence of the man who was housing his future wife; who mostly likely will join him in immortality. He rested the engine, withdrew the key, and then unsnapped his seatbelt. He opened the door and got out. Vasile pushed the door close. He strolled to the front door. He lifted the knocker and struck it against the iron plate.

Mordecai heard the door knocker. He discontinued polishing the silverware. He placed the utensils down on the white cloth. He walked out the kitchen through the dining room, pass the Grand Sitting Room, and into the foyer. He walked over to the door. Mordecai unlocked the door and then opened it.

“How may I assist you Professor Tabarca?”

“I am here to pick up Naynina.”

“I’m sorry, but Miss. Polanski is not present.”

“What do you mean, not present.”

“It appears little Miss. Congeniality was escorted out by Professor Constantine, himself,” Mimi stated from behind.

Vasile looked over Mordecai’s shoulder. He looked down at his watch.

“I’m not doing anything this evening Professor Tabarca.”

Mimi joined the two men.

“Have a nice evening.” Vasile looked over at Mimi. “Ma’am.”

Vasile turned and walked away. He angrily stormed back to his vehicle. He closed his eyes and sniffed the air. He smelled Naynina’s aroma floating in the air with a hint of jasmine mingling with her natural flora. He opened the door to his vehicle; he got inside and pulled the door close. He jammed the key inside the ignition, twisted it, and then started the vehicle. He plowed his vehicle around the driveway.

Vasile drove his vehicle down the steep Craig. He pulled his vehicle to the side of the cliff and rested the engine. He withdrew the key, opened the door, and got out; he pushed the door close, and then tossed his car keys on the driver seat.

Vasile ripped off his suit jacket, tie, and then his shirt. He threw it down where he stood. His neck elongated, the extension of his hands extended; sharpened claws welcomed the manifestations. Fine hairs weaseled through the barriers of his pores blanketing his entire body. Vasile howled out into the night as he shook his head in anger. Pointed ears crowned his head. His face began to lengthen and form something similar to a snout. His pants stretched beyond what his sturdy thighs could retain; ripping into half as a cellular of his metamorphosis caged his physical form. His shoes busted on impact from the paws overcrowding the space. Vasile dropped down on all fours. His blacken furry coat sheltered the transformation from man to beast. Vasile’s fiery red eyes illuminated his path as he ran down the hill. He thought of Naynina and Dracon together. Saliva drooped from his mouth bringing him closer to the musk of his prey.

AL FORNO RESTAURANT
Sighisoara, Romania

“Is your dinner satisfactory?”

“Very, thank you, this is the first time, I’ve ever tasted a streak, medium rare.”

Naynina looked down at the small unconsumed steak on her plate, which marinated in a river of red juices.

“You haven’t eaten any of your food.”

“I will much later.”

“Does anyone around here ever eat?”

“Meaning?”

“I was out with Vasile.”

“Professor Vasile,” Dracon corrected her.

“O…kay. As I was saying, I was out with Professor Vasile and he sat in front of his dinner plate; yet he did not consume his dinner as well.”

“I can’t answer for another man, nor will I attempt to try. As for me, I prefer the elixir of life, which I do not get from off a plate. Would you honor me with a dance, Naynina?”

“Yes, I would love to be held by those manly arms of yours.”

Dracon scooted his chair back. He rose from his seat and walked around the table. He held his hand down to Naynina.

Naynina clasped her hand in Dracon’s hand and stood.

Dracon escorted Naynina to the center of the spacious commodity used for dancing. He pulled her into his arms.

Naynina’s linked her arms around Dracon’s neck. She scooted her body closer.

The soft music embraced the two.

Dracon kissed the top of Naynina’s forehead.

Naynina uplifted her face.

Dracon declined his face. His lips engaged Naynina’s lips. His arms barred her to the physique of his muscular body.

Naynina slipped her tongue inside Dracon’s mouth; her soft tongue twisted around his.

Dracon’s ears perked. He listened to his surroundings. He lifted his lips from off Naynina’s lips. He inched her back.

“I need you to return to the table. I have to use the men’s restroom.”

Dracon looked at the confusion in Naynina’s eyes. He leaned in and kissed her on the lips; he inched his face back.

“Now.”

“I will meet you back at the table. Would you like any dessert?”

“Yes, on top of silk sheets much later.”

He winked at her and walked away.

Naynina blushed and walked in the direction of their table.

Dracon rushed in the direction of the side exit door. He opened the door and walked out the restaurant. He ran into the woods behind the restaurant; he shredded his clothes in the process. He shoes fell away. He quickly shifted into a gray fur coated wolf. His paws crushed the leaves lining his path. He ran faster and then shifted into a bat. He ascended into the night sky. He hovered over the face of the darken landscape. He swooped down, hindering Vasile’s progress. He shifted back to human form.

Vasile’s cat-like paws stopped in stride. He showed his canine teeth and growled at Dracon’s attendance. Clear saliva seeped over his teeth.

“The woman is mine.”

Vasile’s wolf state circled Dracon’s presence. His fiery eyes never left Dracon’s company.

Several other wolves from surrounding packs joined in the ambush.

“Show your face and fight like a man.”

Valan and then Vacome shifted to the form of man.

Both positioned their presence to an upright position.

Vasile continued to circle Dracon. He growled at Dracon.

Dracon looked back and the returned to look at Valan and Vacome.

“Tell your bitch ass brother to face me like real vampire.”

Vasile lurched on Dracon’s back. He bit him on the back of the neck.

“You coward mothafucka.”

Dracon reached behind his head and lifted Vasile from off his back. He threw him into a tree.

Vasile’s mane hit the bark; he slid down. He whimpered and then silence ensued.

Valan and Vacome looked over at their brother’s still body.

“Fuck you, Naynina belongs to us.”

Both looked at Dracon and then shifted back to their wolf form.

Valan and Vacome rushed Dracon’s stature.

Each one took a bite of an ankle; twisting their head as their teeth sank deeper into his skin.

“Bitch ass mothafuckas.”

Dracon tried to kick his leg out. He toppled backwards.

Both brothers began biting Dracon’s body in several places.

Dracon lifted Valan by the sides of his neck and hurled him off of him. He threw his body over the top of a tree in the far distance. He gripped Vacome around his neck and choked him as he wrestled with his animalistic form.

Vacome bit into Dracon’s forearm.

“Fuck.”

Dracon kneed Vacome in his stomach and lifted him off him.

Vacome’s teeth ripped Dracon’s skin off in the process before releasing the clench.

Dracon staggered to his bloody feet. He turned and slowly ran, gaining speed as Vacome and several other wolves from the pack chased behind him. He shifted his form into a bat, and then soared toward the sky.

AL FORNO RESTAURANT
Sighisoara, Romania

Naynina looked down at her watch. She looked in the direction of the men’s restroom.

“I know he did not leave me alone, and with the bill.”

A waiter walked over in Naynina’s direction. He stopped at the table.

“Ma’am, the gentleman who escorted you inside, wishes for you to meet him outside near his vehicle.”

“Could you bring me the check?”

“Not to worry ma’am, Professor Constantine has already taken care of that over the telephone.”

“Thank you, and the food was excellent.”

The waiter sniffled the sir.

“You are welcome.”

Lucky mothafucka to have virgin blood on his arm the waiter thought.

The waiter pulled Naynina’s chair back. His fingers swiped over her bare shoulder.

Very soft skin he thought.

“Thank you.”

“You are most kindly welcome. And please come back.”

“I will.”

Without Professor Constantine the waiter thought.

The waiter took another whiff of Naynina’s aura as her feminine aroma sailed pass his nostrils in her departure.

His eyebrows arched. Fairy’s Blood? In these parts? And in this day?

Naynina walked toward the exit door of the restaurant and walked out the door. She saw Dracon sitting behind the steering wheel. She joined him.

“Enjoy your evening ma’am.”

“Thank you, I shall.”

The valet pushed the door close.

Naynina turned to face Dracon

“It is impolite to leave your guest unattended.”

Dracon refused to face Naynina.

“Dracon…”

Dracon felt woozy and disoriented. He fell sideways into Naynina’s lap.

Naynina looked down at the blood mingled within the strands of Dracon’s dreads. She lifted his head. She saw the blood seeping through the only article of clothing he had on, a ripped shirt

“Shit.”

Naynina rested Dracon’s head against the back of the seat. She opened the door and got put. She pushed the door close and ran around to the driver side. She opened the door, and pushed Dracon’s slumped body over to the passenger side. She got in, pulled the door close, and fumbled to twist the key inside the ignition.

She floored the gas pedal.
