Pussyfooting
It wasn't intentional it started out simply with a kiss
Somewheres along the lines they both ended up naked like this
Promises were made in the heat of passion
This was their first time but they quickly came to love passion
The way that his mouth felt on her, the way that he moulded her with his hands
Yes this was their first time, but they promised to meet passion's demands
Every chance that they got they would sneak off and attempt to quench each other's fire
The more they did it the better they got, the demand rose higher and higher
Life couldn't be any sweeter, she had everything that she wanted out of life
They both pledged their hearts and souls for the rest of their lives
But happiness is an emotion that refuses to bend to any laws
It travels with time, which is assured to expose all flaws
But a few weeks went by and it was time to face her fate
She knew that there was more going on than her just being late
But she waited a month before she decided to share the news
Instead of being happy and celebrating, she was verbally abused
She wasn't nothing but a so and so, and he refused to be trapped
Protection was her responsibility, he shouldn't have to wear a cap
She hid it from everyone as long as she possibly could
The bigger she got the more she begged him to stop by and he said that he would
By the time she went into an early labor, there was word that he was with another
This bad news was compounded when the doctor wished her better luck with another
It appears that the baby didn't make it, there was no crying not even a sound
It seems that when things go bad, they really come crashing down
The stress was to much, she found herself out here all alone
Everything was her fault, a sacrifice was needed to atone
A warm bath and a razor was used in her effort to escape the pain
The more blood that flowed into the bath, the more she felt sane
She later awoke in a hospital bed with everyone talking like she wasn't even there
It seems for the next few years she'll need some extra love love and care
Love and happiness are the only things that refuses to come around and visit
In all relationships to come she will always be weary of what can happen after they kiss it

Wow...This is a powerful piece ME. It is a reality in so many situations and you captured the raw emotions of it. Tight piece my friend!

There is so much of life that crosses anything that humans consider barriers. Young girls or should we say Ladies get pregnant, some voluntarily and others involuntarily. This is regardless of their religious group, color, the finances of their family, these things doesn't matter. There are rich dudes getting women pregnant and leaving, just as there are men of all colors doing the same. A bad relationship is just that, but you don't know until it goes over the edge.
