He was stunned -
the stranger in front of him looked exactly like the girl he'd been dreaming about.
On this sultry Summer night a woman's shimmering outline walked towards him.
His tiny rowboat seemed useless, since he was about to leave the docks.
They left in a cabriolet.

Is it ghoulish enough? More like ghostly. I feel like this is a romance with the wrong title but the title was for a prompt challenge, not about romance, but this happened using a 1st line generator. Oops!

This made me ponder, is there a "ghoulfriend" I dream of? Nothing came to mind (maybe I need to be asleep)!
So, I guess she leaves in the cabriolet alone, and my rowboat is sinking.
