Spectator

We haven’t met in some time I often get distracted, but I know you intimately
Many times I wonder if you’re happy, satisfied, at peace with yourself

Knowing me I tend to be obsessed with thoughts of one’s comforts and pleasures
Some have even known me to be a highly influential that tends to be overly affectionate

I often think about when we’ll meet again and how our encounter will affect you; you’re definitely impressionable
Saturday in a bustling park, you’re among friends and I’m too apprehensive to say salutation

Monday morning at the cafe I smiled at you; but you didn’t even acknowledge me in the among the crowd
Sunday service spoke to me my focus never wavered, I see your radiance among the masses

I just want to be in your presence whispering to you, everything about your worth and desirability
Showing you my utmost appreciation of who you are in my life, I adore you

Holding you as if nothing else matters for me in this moment, this time, this world
I wonder about this obsession with you, even I can’t describe it’s rational

It’s infinitely  magical within myself, this magnetism from such a alluring creature
Looking at you makes my heart feel chaotic, I want to possess you completely

Feeling better about having you within me, you’re secure with me every moment
Love isn’t a word that describes my imagination, because overwhelming seems more appropriate

I’m hoping we’ll always feel connected and sharing happiness and bliss.. I know it
