October!
It presages the year's end times
In all manner of wild sky
Yet still the moonbeams from on high
Promote a fondness for more rhymes
Of an orb swinging high and low,
In an orbital intercourse,
Which sweeps us with a tidal force
As constant as her steady glow
Past stormy clouds now growing cold
Or split by awesome thundercracks
When Zephyrus feels just as bold
As southward ducks beget more quacks,
Flapping through the looming threshold
Of newer years with new almanacs!
In all manner of wild sky
Yet still the moonbeams from on high
Promote a fondness for more rhymes
Of an orb swinging high and low,
In an orbital intercourse,
Which sweeps us with a tidal force
As constant as her steady glow
Past stormy clouds now growing cold
Or split by awesome thundercracks
When Zephyrus feels just as bold
As southward ducks beget more quacks,
Flapping through the looming threshold
Of newer years with new almanacs!
