Thank you for sharing your thoughts, though perhaps the youth of today are merely experiencing connection in different ways. I hesitate to sequester any group of peoples, for we all have such unique experiences afterall, don’t we?

It's amazing to think of all of those defense mechanisms and walls that can be erected from all the suffering and pain we experience. Perhaps you wonder what it would be like without them, but then wonder would you survive without them too. In an ideal world I suppose some things would not happen but I know my world has been less than ideal, and from your words I feel that too. Finding that deep connection can be difficult and it can be so difficult to trust but it can be so beautiful too. Finding that and allowing someone inside those walls again, perhaps that's the best thing in world. When someone can find their way in and love you repairing the damage...

Thank you for the engaging response Kristina, you really understand the struggle. Thankfully I’ve found a strength in vulnerability that I never thought I could possess, and was able to scale the walls and finally reach out to my partner. Her love has provided a safe space for so much healing ❤️‍🩹
