It's a big enough umbrella but I am always getting wet

I dream of her lips
A kiss so sweet and divine
So intense in my thoughts
Wondering what I left behind

For full surrender was my guilt
The smile devoured me every time
Erased my judgment and reasoning
Controlled all meaning in my rhyme

Foolish heart goes in places
And caution thrown up to the wind
Even forsaking cooler heads
Logic never being my friend

Together an abundance of magic
Replaced the solo drive
Touching every fiber of my being
The essence of what it means to be alive

Under clouds and storms of nature
Nothing dilutes the ardor and desire
Conscious thoughts of ecstasy's grip
Her whisper of my name I never will tire
