Dream

I keep thinking of you at night
And i hate myself for doing that
I try to sleep so hard
But that just brings me harm
I woke up from a dream
Call it a nightmare if you will

I had you in my arms so tight
But then you just left my sight
Deep in the ocean you went at night
You knew thats what makes me fright
And you chose that way to fight

I cursed the tide for taking you inside
Two souls that God combined
How could some water simply divide
Until my end i will fiercly deny

Along the shore i waited for you
Knowing you will never return
Surrounded by water you made me burn
Was this something i deserved

By the light house my tears dried up
But the ocean kept getting wider
And my feet growing weaker
At the end i was just a dreamer
I still desperately wait for the sight of you
To finally say again " i love you ♡"
