sacred vows spill from my soul onto to the sacred page
whispering secrets kept
the knowledge of the way
to enter into an understanding with her people

a beautiful language of honesty
listening to starlight converse
a code of supernovas designed to enlighten
with a gentle bloodletting
we scribe our truths

soul to soul we utter parables
visions and dreamscapes and a lot of times pain
an uplifting of spirit with each refrain of tenderness
a journey undertaken
poetry to guide the way

upholding the wisdom we learn
a golden cup to be shared
