Dream Catcher  

I marvel, with the Late Show extinguished
Amid the sweet infomercial hours
When instrumental jazz is distinguished
As a rare grace from radio towers,
Where flash the ruby beacon warnings
From a spindle lattice guy wire height
First to greet the light of sunny mornings
After competing with the stars all night,
Or perhaps combine in some strange embrace
An alien aether with a broadcast beam
Searching all the darkest matter in space
For things weird enough to cram in a dream,
Then broadcast again towards Mother Earth
Where unconscious brains provide a rebirth.
