Tearfall
I can feel it within every cell every fibre of my being
This is gonna be a rainy season unlike anything ever seen
The animals even have the sense to find or build shelter
I'm freezing fucking cold in fucking weather that swelters
That sticky humid heat that clings to your skin and mind
The kind rakes at your brain and heart clawing out painful lines
I remember the last rainy season and what it had in store
And I swore at that time it was the worst ever seen before
Immeasurable time spent hiding in the darkness of a lonely cave
Hungering for nothing but my sun, so no cave fire was made
The darkness of the cave matched the darkness that I felt inside
Stormy Monday, ha there was a hurricane raging on the inside
And this time I'm no more prepared for what is to come
With emotions all exposed, the slightest breeze takes away some
Just beyond the waves on the horizon, I can see the clouds gathering
The words in my head are swirling and incoherent, simply blathering
How can I collect my thoughts, how can I pray this storm away
How can I grab a hold onto the wind and hear what my mind and heart says
As torrential rains begin to beat me down, the wind screamed loud it was my fault
That my rain waters were pouring down tasting of teary salt
This is gonna be a rainy season unlike anything ever seen
The animals even have the sense to find or build shelter
I'm freezing fucking cold in fucking weather that swelters
That sticky humid heat that clings to your skin and mind
The kind rakes at your brain and heart clawing out painful lines
I remember the last rainy season and what it had in store
And I swore at that time it was the worst ever seen before
