It's not about anything
Just paint and cold pressed paper

Worked on it for awhile
It was hard to photograph
A lot of moving parts someone said
I make art because it's a calling
Unlike a love poem
That's expression too
I slept 8 hours last night
Unheard of in my nucleus
Not sure what to do with the energy
Perhaps another painting
A trip to buy greeting cards
My mentor and cousin were born on the same day
Same year
Both are Vietnam veterans
One was in intelligence, the other communications
One killed people, the other probably not
Their lives were not parallel post war
They will both receive funny cards ....
