Many different strokes

Ive been told
by some I'm a rambler,  
To many I'm known  
 a weary eyed  
wanderlusting traveller,  

and by a few others  
I was lucky enough  
to be called their brother  
 
Ive spent my life  
as a firm believer,  
Of enjoying my time  
as an easy  
peaceful dreamer...  
   
  Always Looking to the stars  
for the light to guide my heart  
And help me On my way,  
 With the faith and love  
       to lean on  
        i never have  
          too far to stray.  
 
Yeah,  
 I think this world is really simple  
if you ask me,  
All thats asked of us  
is to be  
as humble as we can be,  
 love your fellow man,  
try to see  
their doing the best  they can,  

 keep the ones you care for real close, and understand we all  
paint our pictures  
 with many  
 different strokes....  
 
 
   We all have many things in life  
Thats so different,  
but were all stuck here in it ,  
 so I know,  
We're one in the same...  
if your not satisfied in this world,    
Just know theres no one else to blame.  
 
  Go ahead and  
do it your way,  
But remember we  
 dont get the final say  
Follow your dreams,  
and pray like hell  
 Dont be to scared to fail,  
 its not as bad as it seems  
 
Never back down  
 from standing your ground,  
To yourself  
always stay true...  
Above all else,  
 take it from someone trying to help  
remember  
to just be you....  
 
It wouldn't surprise me  
If the ones that  
 knew me the most,  
 Thought of me as nothing  
much more than a ghost ,  
 
if thats so than  
just a spirit I am,  
 Ill always try to do  
the best i can..  
   
One of my biggest hopes  
 is that I get to keep  
 painting my picture  
with many different strokes....  
 
Yeah, I think this world  
seems pretty simple  
if you ask me,  
All thats asked of us  
 is to be as humble  
as we can be,  
   
Love your fellow man,  
help them to be the best they can...  
keep the ones you care for  
 Oh so close ,  
 There aint no easy way out,  
So go on and paint your picture  
 with many  
 different strokes....
