Goddess...Excellently Bright!

She's as constant as a German clock
And as lovely as a Gallic maid
Who teases with the scanty frock
Of scattered clouds moonbeam arrayed.
What dullard would ignore such grace
Serenaded by coyote call
As if they worshipped outer space
As much as Satan's angel fall?
A fall which came from such a height
As depicted by the moon above
The denizens of lunar night
Long looking for more midnight love,
Knowing full well that love is best
Whenever it is moonbeam blessed!
