WAS IT WORTH IT?
What is it we've chosen not remember
within & out the lines we have crossed?
We've raised more than the fuckin roof
with the promises & vows we've tossed.
For casting only our shadows behind us
and echoes the spaces we've grazed.
We also let linger feelings &
truth

I just came out of a daze myself. It was a long daze, like, Dorothy's whirlwind. Speaking for my own self, really, I try my best to hold on as tightly as possible. So many times, only to see it all appear to slip away again, even when I thought I was doing the right thing. Never again. I vow I don't ever want to leave anyone or anyplace again.
The mantra I told myself is, "Wonder is. But Self is better. And once you finally achieve that, there'll be no fear in you of staying.
More than anything, I was always a poet. I just didn't know it.
