The Four Freedoms
We were redoubted, with our ocean moats,
And happy to be unchallenged in the seas
With vast fleets as tyranny's antidotes
And the skies to do with as we please.
A globe of smiles knew our happy trade
And national know how as a blessing
From endless scientific accolade
To literary arts letter pressing
The godsends of commerce and liberty
And all manner of aesthetic graces
And crops that seemed to span infinity
Between content American faces,
Who knew there was no national health
Until every worker maintained some wealth.
And happy to be unchallenged in the seas
With vast fleets as tyranny's antidotes
And the skies to do with as we please.
A globe of smiles knew our happy trade
And national know how as a blessing
From endless scientific accolade
To literary arts letter pressing
The godsends of commerce and liberty
And all manner of aesthetic graces
And crops that seemed to span infinity
Between content American faces,
Who knew there was no national health
Until every worker maintained some wealth.
