bee-like
stings
spread across
tender flesh
release screams
tears flow
biting buds
leave flecks
bloody droplets
ooze

I have drank birch sap before. It is lightly sweet but there is this feeling that it wants to invade every pore. And you feel like that. The buds bloom in my mind... to taste like birch sap. Tons of minerals and hydration too.

Beautifully evocative. There is so much power in what's left unsaid. Images tumbling through my mind for what was, what is, and what's to be. A timeless poem.
