Heart Massage

Turn up the house lights
Show me what’s left behind
Littered to the floor
Stuffed behind the door
As everyone leaves
Leaves it all behind
Forgotten
Trash
Strewn about the echos
Of everything that transpired
Here

You say that you forgive me
But its me who needs
To forgive you
You say you’ll welcome me
Back
But its I who needs to let you
Back
In
But I can’t see through the sabotage
That you hid with all the camouflage
And mirage
What I really need is
A heart massage

Open up the curtains
Show me what’s just outside
Crawling half-heartedly by
Shining golden in sunlight
As the sun it rises
Leaving night behind
Melatonin
Sleep
Slipped between the questions
Last night

You say that you forgive me
But its me who needs
To forgive you
You say you’ll welcome me
Back
But its I who needs to let you
Back
In
But I can’t see through the sabotage
That you hid with all the camouflage
And mirage
What I really need is
A heart massage

Swing wide the violet door
Show me the mess
Burning up what’s left of your breath
Hanging on to the nothing that’s left
As Elderbrook plays Numb
In my headphones
Lyrics
Weep
I wish I could love
But nothings left to touch

Remember its I

Its I who needs to let you

Back
In
But I can’t see through the sabotage
That you hid with camouflage
And mirage
What I really need is
A heart massage
