Orb

When sad the sea
washed ashore
seaweeds

dried into singular salts
when sea whispered
neigh oh night

woe

I pledged her articulate landscape
my siblings are these tides

across horizons

swims
sinks

my
poesy

let fire form
an alphabet

do not gaze

do not look

at my hands
do not kiss
these
opaque
lips

they are too old
to forgive

when rain
hangs out
to dry
the rippled glass

whispered
dead breath
came

too soon
to forget
