Never truly alone

Do you hear me whispering, sending sweet words like honey in your ear, words to remind you that, your poets always near

Waiting for the Sandman to send you off into a gentle sleep, so I can come into your night, into your dream I'll creep

You will feel my kisses, all laid ever so gently on your skin, tender reminders of moments we've shared within

Moments shared in a dream were you and I were together but still alone, still having the sort of connection, only true lovers would have known

Though we are worlds apart, seperated by time and space it seems, we still find each other, in the land we call our dreams

The God's must have smiled on me, when they put you in my head but sometimes it's a curse, when you have to leave my bed

The Sun has to come up, then that's your time to go, I wish i could make time stand still, or at least make it go slow

So has you wake up and greet the Sun, you're never truly on your own, you'll find me in your heart and my poems on your phone
