I don't have demons

I don't have demons,
not just because I'm un-religious;
and more, say, Spiritual,
but because
my horned demons
are more like guests and companions.

Things to fill the empty places
during my soul's supper,
or corners for dark conversation
to avoid the silent void
in my heart's party.

Sometimes we play cards
and I call their bluff;
their wagers are useful in filling an age.
Pretty sure one helps my writing.

There is enough angles, demons, rakshasas, and more
to keep things lively
and appreciate life.
