Walk About!

enjoyed Art at Rose Cottage today,
and we all went up to the library,
 where some of our art, was on display!
i then wandered to the old town,
and drank a pot of tea,
and sat there in the sun,
quite merrily
then walked back to Hastings
and robbed my own bank
glad to see my balance
wasn't entirely blank
had a pint of cider
at the Carlisle
got me out the sun
for a little while
then roamed down to the Fountain
had another drink
pondered a while on my week
which gave me food to think
then i was off, at a merry pace
to a gazillion postcards
A real cider sort of place
then wandered down to the town centre
where i bumped into someone i knew
Hi said i,
lovely to meet you too!
then i walked to st leonards
to a bar of the same name
had another drinky poos
but my finances were running lame
went to the chinese takeaway
my stomach was in a hurry
got a taxi home
accompanied by a curry
i think i have to say
it's been a most revealing
and a quirky kind of day
