Whatever the weather

The forecast was for sun,no rain
But they got it wrong again.
I planned a visit to the sea
On the beach to walk free

A trek from road to coast
Expecting in the sun to roast,
But clouds covered the sky
The forecast was a real lie

When I arrived on the sand
No chance of getting tanned
Rain started to fall from the sky
How can I keep my clothes dry?

 Into backpack went my clothes
To the rain my skin expose
Gambolling nude on the shingle
The rain soon made my skin tingle

A quick dip made me no wetter
A skinny dip, I felt fitter.
The rain then ceased,
The temperature increased

The sun soon dried my skin
Let the sunbathing begin
A day like this is worth repeating
Nude on the beach takes some beating
